TI's Farewell Concert

Prison-bound rapper T.I. played a rousing farewell gig to fans on Sunday (5/24) as he winds down his career before embarking on a year-long stint behind bars.
The Live Your Life hitmaker will hand himself over to the authorities by noon on Tuesday (5/26) to start his 366-day jail term, which he was handed in connection with his recent conviction on weapons charges. T.I., real name Clifford Harris, Jr., asked lawmakers to delay his sentence until he could secure a a cell in a minimum-security prison near his home in Atlanta, Georgia.
His request was denied and he must report to authorities in Forrest City, Arkansas on Tuesday as planned. But that didn’t stop the star from taking to stage one last time to thrill fans, who have bombarded the star with messages of support ahead of his jail term.
The gig, at Atlanta’s Philips Arena, saw a crowd of 16,000 wave banners and cheer as T.I. brought his five children on stage during his track No Matter What.
And he thanked the audience for sticking by him throughout his troubled past: “I’m going to stand up tall, head up high. Thank you for all of your support. “What I need y’all to do is pray for me while I’m gone. I’ll see y’all in 366 days.”
Mike Tyson's 4yr. Old Daughter - Critical Condition

Mike Tyson’s 4 year old daughter suffered a terrible accident Monday morning:
Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter Exodus is on life support after an accident involving home exercise equipment, the Associated Press reports. In what police in Phoenix call a tragic accident Monday morning at Tyson’s home there, the girl was reportedly found by her 7-year-old brother with her neck caught in a cable attached to a treadmill.
The boy alerted the girl’s mother in another room. Her mother called 911 and tried to revive her, according to the AP. Mike Tyson was said to be in Las Vegas at the time of the accident, but has returned home.
Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill told FOX News, “Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console – it’s kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.”
Emergency personnel performed CPR on Exodus, who was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital where she remains on life support, according to the Fox News report. Sgt. Hill described her condition as “extremely critical.”

XXL Magazine Receives Law Suit

Is Rick Ross the Biggest Fraud Ever in Hip-Hop?????
After saying in XXL that "I've never had a credibility problem and still don't..."
The XXL Editors received this letter from Louis Vuitton concerning the May 2009 cover of Rick Ross:
Dear Editor:
We were dismayed to see the cover of the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine, which features a photo of Rick Ross wearing a pair of sunglasses prominently featuring counterfeit Louis Vuitton trademarks. Because the photo has generated considerable confusion among your readers and Louis Vuitton customers among others, we feel it is important to clarify several points.
The first is that the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to correct the confusion.
Sincerely,
Michael D. Pantalony, Esq.
Louis Vuitton Malletier
